Henny Tate is a planting designer and artist based in the Wiltshire countryside.
After a career in interior design she re-trained at The English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden. Her planting has been described as naturalistic and romantic with an emphasis on creating interest in the garden throughout the seasons. She works on a few private projects at a time often collaborating with landscape architects, landscapers, rural artisans and artists.
Inspired to record nature in a different media she exhibited some of her botanical drawings in a show called Framing Nature in Bruton last autumn. Following its success she is very excited to announce Framing Nature II is being hosted at the beautiful Knepp Wilding from November 4th to December 16th 2024. Read more about this under ‘Artworks’
